Phjum Ban #2 - Wat Botum

We also visited the central Wat Botum to see the Phjum Ban festivities, this time accompanied by our knowledgable language teacher Kimleang.

Kävimme myös keskustassa sijaitsevassa Wat Botumissa nähdäksemme lisää Phjum Ban -juhlallisuuksia ja tällä erää saimme oppaaksi asiaan perehtyneen kieliopettajamme Kimleangin.

Kuten tavallista Milo keräsi paljon huomiota ja sai osakseen hurjasti kehuja :)

Wat Botum. "Lootuksen kukintojen temppeli," perustettu 1400-luvulla kuningas Ponyea Yatin käskystä. Yksi Phnom Penhin alkuperäisistä temppeleistä.

The rice bowls that monks use for their daily rounds asking for offerings of food by walking door to door. During the festival families bring the food directly to the monks in the temple.
