Viime viikolla Tane sai kiintoisan puhelun. Joku kollegoistamme oli kuullut, että Tane on suuri kahvin ystävä ja oli antanut Tanen yhteystiedot eteenpäin toiselle järjestölle... Puhelu tuli ja järjestöstä pyydettiin Tanea vierailulle, nimittäin kahviexperttinä! Hetki sitten Tane lähtikin mopoilemaan kohti tätä kahvilatapaamista. Ensi keskustelun anti (puhelimitse) oli, että Tane alkoi tosissaan pohtimaan pitäisikö Mondulkirin READ-kehitysyhteistyöhankkeen yhteyteen (tai sitten ihan omana harrastuksena) ryhtyä kahvinviljelijäksi! Tässä muutama insproiva kuva seudulta, jossa emme ole vielä itsekään ehtineet käydä.
Last week Tane got an interesting phone call... One of our colleagues had picked up on Tane's developed coffee taste buds (moreover, his passion for drinking espresso) and had given his contact info to a NGO interested in setting up a cafe. So for the first time ever Tane was consulted as a coffee specialist!! And just a moment ago Tane left for his first coffee meeting... Soon we'll hear how that went. Anyway, one result of the first phone call was that Tane started to seriously consider setting up a coffee farm in Mondulkiri! We'll be working for the Mondulkiri READ-development project next year and so maybe coffee could be a part of the program or then just a hobby...
